I explored 3D printing and its potential use within ceramics. I developed my nozzles and experimented with different types of extruding.
In the end, I shifted away from 3D printing as I was interested in the similarities between typical decorative piping techniques and extruding clay.
„Wonderlust” is a collection of vases inspired by cake layering and decorating. By mixing different pigments I was able to create extruded gradients within clay. I created a mold of a shape that can be stuck on top of each other. This shape refers to a traditional stack cake.
